Hmph. LJ is 500-ing me.
Ok, well. Lunchtime was spent picking up book two of Transmetropolitan. Not having read The Spider Jerusalem Chronicles all the way through, just piecemeal, and they're being re-issued on cheaper paper, I thought "what the hell" and picked up book 1 on Monday. And now I'm doing exactly the same thing as I did with Y and Fables, which is devouring them. At least with this it's over, no new books to come out (and, as Woz said about cosplayers at last Saturday's Manga thing in That London; "No Spider Jerusalems, for the first time in years. I guess the old fvckhead’s finally retired.")
Then I came back to werk and devoured that one. The only reason I'm not stopping in OK on the way home is that I know they don't have any of book 3 in stock. These are seriously grim pieces of work, but I can't help but laugh, and I really like Spider as a character.
Anyway. Back to work, for the next 40 minutes.
